鎧俠與 Google 合作提升日本的潔淨能源使用

【日本四日市訊】鎧俠株式會社 (「鎧俠」) 今日宣布與 Google LLC (「Google」) 合作，透過日本中部地方一項水力發電改造計畫促進潔淨電力的使用，以實現邁向更永續未來的承諾。此計畫為中部電力集團所有，預期將增加年度潔淨能源的生產，有助於電網去碳化，並支援兩家公司的淨零工作。

記憶體解決方案領導廠商鎧俠，已開始承購該水力發電計畫的電力，預計每年將達到 160 千瓦時 (GWh) (足以為約 40,000 戶日本家庭供電)。這項舉措直接支援鎧俠在 2040 會計年度前，其自身業務活動所使用之能源達到 100% 為可再生能源，並在 2050 會計年度前實現淨零溫室氣體排放。鎧俠的水力發電承購提供全天候的潔淨電力，也有助於減少 Google 的範疇三排放量，並支援其在營運和價值鏈中實現淨零排放的抱負。

水力發電改造升級了現有發電設備，以提高發電效率和電量，這為擴展再生能源同時最小化環境影響提供了重大機會。此計畫對於鎧俠在日本的營運具有策略重要性，因為藉由這些改造後的設施產生的可再生能源，鎧俠將能提高其在面臨去碳化挑戰的領域中永續供電的能力。
